News from the Middle School

Week of Sept. 18

Dear All,

I hope you are all well. It's been a full week for sure. We really enjoyed our extra infusion of the arts this week with a visit from poet, Vera Gomez and musical theater ensemble, Tres Vidas. The 8th grade reunited with their lower school buddies from last year and the 7th grade met with their buddies for the first time. Buddies happen on Thursday mornings and it is a true highlight for us. The Bake Sale was a fun way to end the week and always a tremendous success!

Next week begins with Picture Day on Monday. It is our goal to have everyone make their way through the photo line as early as possible. The sixth grade travels to Green River Preserve on Wednesday morning and returns early afternoon on Friday. This is a really wonderful trip, and if you could all just hope for lovely weather for them, that would be most appreciated!

This week marked the mid-point in our first quarter of school which ends on Friday, October 13th. It is going by too quickly, but we are having a lot of fun along the way.

Take good care,

Farrar
