Kids Rock! Exploring Rocks, Minerals, and Gems: Campers will learn all about rocks and how they are formed through hands-on lessons. Campers will make art with rocks, go gem mining, and learn how to distinguish different minerals and their purposes.

Strawberry Shortcake Summer: Campers will spend a week with all of their favorite characters from the Strawberry Shortcake series! Strawberry Shortcake, Apple Dumplin', Angel Cake, Blueberry Muffin, Cherry Jam, and Ginger Snap will captivate campers with their adventures. The afternoons will be filled with baking fun treats inspired by the characters themselves. Campers will bring home the treats they create each day!

Enjoy this new mini adventure camp specifically for the Arts. Visit a pottery studio, work outside with spin or graffiti art, try felt sculpting and turn the heat up with melting glass art! Travel throughout the Upstate learning skills from local artists. Campers will focus on a different artistic skill each day of the week.

Is your child interested in baking or helping out in the kitchen? This camp is perfect for aspiring Little Chefs! Campers will work in a food safe environment to learn basic kitchen skills and prepare simple recipes. Campers will also taste test a variety of ingredients and work towards creating their own recipe by the end of the week. Campers will bring home the treats they create in class.

Join us as we explore the world of reptiles and amphibians! The team from Scaly Adventures will visit with Julius Squeezer in tow, and we will enjoy hands-on time with other creatures as well! Don’t worry, we will also get slimy creating our own lizard inspired slime!

Do you love cartoons? Did you know most cartoons started off as comics? Join Comic Book Artist J. Chris Campbell to learn how to draw comics as well as understand the history of comic books and their creators. Campers will also take a field trip to visit a comic book store during the week.

Your camper will get plenty of Vitamin D this week.  Campers will enjoy a range of water activities including a day at the Trampoline Water park at Shores of Asbury, a day enjoying water slides at Carowinds Carolina Harbor and a day at the indoor water park at  Great Wolf Lodge in NC. Campers will also enjoy some outdoor time riding the lake waves while tubing at Lake Hartwell and white water rafting at White Water Center in Charlotte.

Has your child ever wanted to learn about the great outdoors? Your child will have the opportunity to learn survival skills from trained boy scout troops and leaders, as well as visit Thomas Academy to learn archery skills. Campers will practice their archery skills with an outdoor archery course on campus.
