Test Registration and Dates: It is the student’s responsibility to pay attention to test dates and registration deadlines. We encourage students to register for a test as early as possible to guarantee their test site preference. Click here to register and to see a list of upcoming test dates.

Most students can view their scores online two weeks following the test date. Students can usually expect to receive their official ACT score report within three to eight weeks of their test date, and within five to eight weeks if the writing portion was taken. For seniors applying to colleges in the fall, this test score availability schedule may be useful as you consider your application deadlines.

• Students are responsible for ensuring their official scores are sent to and received by the colleges to which they apply. Most colleges will accept official scores electronically, but some may prefer to receive official reports by mail. Students must check with their colleges’ admissions guidelines to determine how to send the reports.
• Students also have the option with the ACT to use “Score Choice,” which allows them to only send scores from certain test dates (rather than all scores). Most colleges will accept “Score Choice,” but it is best to double check on your colleges’ admissions pages, as there are a handful that wish to see all scores.

AP exams take place during the first two weeks in May and are administered at SDS. Though students are responsible for AP test fees, SDS assumes responsibility for registering students for these tests.
